The gas mar­ket value in June 2022 was 15 times high­er than the gas price in the same month of 2020. And prices are pro­jeted to fur­ther in­crease. The en­ergy trans­ition, however, with its prom­ise for great­er en­ergy in­de­pend­ence, should sta­bil­ise en­ergy prices and re­lax the situ­ation in the longer term.
