The 2021 Pas­si­ve Hou­se Award is an in­ter­na­tion­al ar­chi­tec­tur­al com­pet­i­tion for highly en­ergy ef­fi­cient build­ings. Projects can be submitted until 01 June 2021. The win­ners will be presen­ted at an awards ce­re­mony as part of the 25th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce.

Thank you to our Advisory Board members for 3 days of inspiring discussions to put together the conference programme for the 25th International Passive House Conference in September 2021. The programme will be published by end of April 2021. The conference planned as an hybrid event will take place in the Stadthalle in Wuppertal/Germany and ONLINE.

We are look­ing for your experiences, projects, new de­vel­op­ments and much more to cre­ate an in­spir­ing pro­gramme for our 25th In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce in Wup­per­tal, Ger­many. You have until 15 February 2021 to sub­mit your ab­stract on­line. The Conference, including the Passive House Exhibition, will take place on 10 and 11 September 2021 at the historical city hall of Wuppertal. Additionally, we will provide additional online offerings to enable you to take part from around the world.

We are incredible happy and thankful for three weeks of virtual Passive House Conference and for all the things we learned and shared. It was an ex­hil­ar­at­ing ex­per­i­en­ce to meet so many people virtually that are pas­sion­ate about build­ing en­ergy-ef­fi­cient houses and im­ple­ment­ing these build­ing stand­ar­ds for a bet­ter and more sus­tain­able fu­ture. Darmstadt, Germany. In order to close the “performance gap” that often occurs with energy-efficient buildings, 20 partners from across Europe have joined forces in the new Built2Spec project. The aim is to provide construction specialists with tools for mobile applications using smartphones and tablet computers – from easy-to-use 3D visualisation and compact solutions for airtightness measurements to a BIM-based data platform for on-site quality assurance. The most important objectives of the Built2Spec project were presented at the Sustainable Places conference which was held in Savona in Italy last week.
