The use of a heat pump can be a cent­ral build­ing block for the suc­cess­ful op­er­a­tion of a pass­ive house. In light of the in­creas­ing at­tract­ive­ness of photo­vol­ta­ic elec­tri­city, this elec­tric­ally powered sys­tem for gen­er­at­ing the re­quired heat­ing en­ergy and hot wa­ter pro­duc­tion of­fers an at­tract­ive op­por­tun­ity to use a lar­ger share of the self-gen­er­ated elec­tri­city. Im­prove­ments of all kinds in this field in the area of vent­il­a­tion plan­ning as well as ad­vice and ex­per­i­en­ce re­ports on the plan­ning and im­ple­ment­a­tion of cor­res­pond­ing pro­jects will be presen­ted in de­tail by the speak­ers.
